
Researchers Robyn Fivush and Marshall Duke have shown that children and teens have higher self-esteem, higher academic and social competence, and fewer behavior problems if they know stories about their families. These social scientists have a “Family Narratives Lab” and have developed 20 questions to discuss with your children that can be a starting point for sharing family stories.
