Memorial – Sister Bonnie Aramaki

Bonnie Mae Aramaki

Nov 28, 1944 – Jan 26, 2021

We join with the Aramaki family in mourning the loss of our beloved ward member and neighbor, Bonnie. Bishop Bickmore was contacted by her nephew Derek, and he expressed the family’s sincere thanks and appreciation for all the care and support our ward gave to his aunt.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there is no viewing or funeral service. Instead, a graveside service will be held on February 1, 2021 in Price, Utah. An excerpt of Bonnie’s obituary is provided below, along with links to the complete obituary and details of the service.

SANDY/CLEAR CREEK, UT-Bonnie Aramaki, our beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend passed peacefully among loved ones on January 26, 2021, at the age of 76.

In her 38 years teaching kindergarten at Twin Peaks Elementary, Bonnie influenced and touched the lives of many children and parents. She particularly enjoyed introducing her students to different cultures through food and presentations. She was very dedicated to her students and her craft.

Bonnie loved bowling, travel, cooking and Elvis. But, most of all she loved her family. She was the caregiver, opening her home to our grandmother and mother until they passed. She doted on her brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Bonnie loved family gatherings and the all-night poker game that ensued. Bonnie was the granter of “birthday dinner wishes” and really any wish within her power. And Mom and Dad hung the moon.

Bonnie also loved her neighborhood family and was very appreciative of everything they did.
