An Expression of Faith
We have a number of members who are in need of our fasting and prayers. The bishop has asked us to include Bro. Jerry Downard, Bro. Josh Larsen, and the Lay family specifically in this month’s fast.
In addition, the Stake Presidency requested us to share the following message:
As we move quickly to the end of 2020 we are mindful of the many changes, challenges, blessings and successes that have occurred this year and the Herculean effort you, your bishoprics and ward councils have put forth to bless the lives of your respective wards.
The final Fast Sunday of the year is this Sunday; and we ask that you and your ward join us in added faith as we fast and pray. Specifically, we ask that you add to your and your congregation’s fast, that there be further relief from the COVID-19 Virus and that the families of the world be comforted, blessed and protected from the pandemic.
In addition, we are entering a second , possibly third, year of terrible drought in the State of Utah and the West generally. Will you also include in your ward’s prayer and fasting, relief from the drought and that we may receive the much needed precipitation in our state and the West throughout this winter.
