Under the direction of the First Presidency, and stake and ward leaders, we will resume weekly Sacrament Meeting services in the Silvercrest Ward, including an option to watch the meeting live, via the internet.
Members who would like to watch the live stream of the sacrament meeting may do so through the following links:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aG6ydvdUzEE&feature=youtu.be
Either link should work on your computer or smartphone and the stream will go live on YouTube at approximately 8:55 am on Sunday morning. The service will begin at 9:00 am and run for about 40 minutes. There will be an opening hymn, invocation, ward business, and inspirational messages, followed by a closing hymn and benediction. The live stream will end at that point. The stream will be provided every Sunday through the same link for the foreseeable future.
Members who remain home to watch the streaming service will be invited to conduct their own in-home sacrament ordinance according to the guidelines that have been in place over the past few months.
Attending Sacrament Meeting In Person
Members who are comfortable attending sacrament meeting in the chapel are invited to be in their seats by 9:00 am to participate in the services. The sacrament will be administered to members in the chapel after the live stream has ended. Individuals and families who are interested in attending in person should contact a member of the bishopric in keeping with the procedure followed for the last couple of months.
Additional Class Meetings
Beginning October 11th, Sunday School will be streamed live on the first and third Sundays. Priesthood, Relief Society, Young Men and Young Women’s meetings will also be streamed on the second and fourth Sundays. These meetings will go live at 10:30 am each week, and will only be offered online. No meetings from these organizations will be held in person at the chapel building. More information will be provided as details become available.
There are no plans for holding Primary classes at this time, but the bishopric encourages families to keep their children involved in gospel learning as much as they can at home.
Questions?
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact a member of the bishopric or reply to this email. However you choose to worship, we hope these options will provide you with an uplifting sabbath experience.
