Meeting Convenes Early Sunday Morning!
We hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years! As we begin a new calendar year, we draw your attention to the Stake General Priesthood Meeting scheduled the morning of January 12, at 7:00AM, for all priesthood holders in the stake (ages 11+).
This may be an early morning meeting, but it is our one scheduled general priesthood meeting of the year—a special opportunity to gather together. For some of you, this may be your first time attending a general priesthood meeting. Particular care is being given to ensure this gathering is meaningful as we strengthen one another in understanding our priesthood duties, recognize the promises and enabling power the Lord offers through our priesthood covenant, and deepen our understanding of the purpose of that power.
In preparation for the meeting, we invite you to study Mosiah 18 and Moroni 6, with particular attention to how we strengthen our relationship with the Lord, the responsibilities He gives us, and how we access to the covenantal promises the Lord extends to us as we are involved in the work of Heavenly Father.
