Sunday Evening Get-Together
We would like to invite all Silvercrest youth ages 11-18 to gather together this Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Melchizedek Priesthood room to view the church’s worldwide youth broadcast. Elder Soares of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will speak from the Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil.
The broadcast will also include messages from the Young Women General President Emily Belle Freemen and Young Men General President Steven J. Lund which they filmed from the Hill Cumorah in Manchester New York, during the solar eclipse earlier this year on April 8th.
The broadcast will be 27 minutes long and focus on the 2024 youth theme, “I am a disciple of Jesus Christ” which comes from 3 Nephi 5:13 in the Book of Mormon. After the broadcast, we will have a testimony meeting to give each person a chance to share one thing they learned about Jesus Christ this year.
