Contributions Needed for Young Women
A service project is underway as a fundraising event for Girl’s Camp. These funds are needed to help make sure every young woman who wants to attend Girl’s Camp can afford to go, including girls from inactive or non-member families.
The young women will be making fleece blankets for refugee kids. Last year, they asked for thousands of bath towels, and you all delivered big time! This year, the girls will need 60″ x 60″ pieces of fleece. Please look through your fabric bins and watch for sales on fleece to donate. You are welcome to drop off items to Lara McCoy’s porch basket or give the fleece to any leaders in Young Women.
