Emergency Preparedness – Baby Steps

Do Something Small

An easier way to approach emergency preparedness is to do a “little” something on a continual basis. Each month add a couple of dollars to an emergency fund, or buy an extra can of food, or get a small grill or camp stove, or get/build a first aid kit, or read a scripture, or listen to a conference talk, or attend a class or seminar. It doesn’t need to cost a lot. Most of us cannot buy and store a two year supply of food all at once. You will be very surprised at how much you have accomplished when you look back over the past year or two. Not only will you be surprised at what you have been able to do but you will receive blessings along the way, many which you may not be aware of or recognize now but you will come to see in time. Good luck in your preparations!
