There are several opportunities for service and volunteering. Here are the highlights:

* The Relief Society is providing service at the Alzheimer’s Center on Thursdays in October. Volunteers are needed for the 21st and the 28th. For details, please contact Sister Carly Maw.
* Sister Bonnie Barrett is collecting surplus garden produce. There is a cooler near her garage and any fruits or vegetables donated there will be taken to the Senior Center, the Boys and Girls Club of Sandy, or the Copperview Rec Center.
* Sister Dorthea Gray and Brother Merlin Gray are looking for volunteers to assist with their inner-city mission service. The “My Hometown Initiative” will need help with various projects. Please contact the Grays directly.
